The Chase Tactical joey pouch soft armor insert is a protective component designed to provide level IIIA ballistic protection to the groin area. Insertable via the rear zippered compartment on the back of the joey pouch. At about 1/4 inch thick and being made of kevlar and advanced ballistic matrix materials, this is typically worn as part of a tactical or law enforcement body armor system. Often found hanging below the plate carrier by the velcro panel.
